MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Joe Riley says he is ready to make his Sheffield United debut after completing a loan switch to the Blades today.
Manchester United midfielder Joe Riley has joined Sheffield United
Sheffield United secured the loan deal until the end of the season after weeks of speculation of Riley's future.
The midfielder, 20, recently played 85 minutes on his return from a hamstring injury in Manchester United's reserves clash with Liverpool.
And he believes he is ready to start for the League One side.
Asked whether he was pleased with the transfer, Riley told SheffieldUTube: "Definitely, when you hear Sheffield United (are interested) you think of the massive club, the fans.
"I've had the manager on the phone and they've shown a lot of interest.
"Obviously I'm delighted to have come here and hopefully get playing now.

If selected I'm 100 per cent ready for Saturday
"I had a slight injury to my hamstring but the manager has been consistent.
"I've had a few phone calls from different members of the Blades showing interest (in me).
"So I couldn't say no to be honest. I've been delighted to get down here.
"We had Liverpool, which is obviously a big game to get straight back into. I needed minutes under my belt and finally I've done that now.
"I'm ready to play now. If selected I'm 100 per cent ready for Saturday, yeah definitely."
