Schweinsteiger returned to training with the rest of the Manchester United squad yesterday after being frozen out by Jose Mourinho.
Express Sport understands Schweinsteiger still faces an uphill battle to play for United again - with Mourinho keen to get him fit to boost his chances of selling him in January.
But United stars Luke Shaw and Juan Mata have welcomed the 32-year-old back into the fold at Carrington.

And Shaw revealed Mourinho had informed his players Schweinsteiger was returning before their frustrating 0-0 draw with Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday.
"It's great to see him back,” Shaw said. “We found out the news a couple of days ago.
"It's a great boost for us, the experience and the quality that he brings."

Mata added: “We all are very happy for him that he is training with us.
“I wish the best for him and so does the rest of the team. He will never lose it.”
Schweinsteiger is unable to play for Manchester United against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night (6pm) as he is not registered for the competiton.

He is eligible to play in the Premier League but is unlikely to be brought in for the trip to Swansea on Sunday (3pm).
Schweinsteiger and Mourinho stood side by side at a United gala dinner for Unicef last night, after he had tweeted his happiness at returning to the fold.
“Felt great today! Team is in good shape, results will follow! @ManUtd” he posted alongside a picture of him in training.
