Jose Mourinho had banished the World Cup winner to the reserves but Schweinsteiger has now been welcomed back.
Express Sport understands the 32-year-old is likely to have been reintroduced though to ensure he’s fully fit ahead of a potential transfer in January.

Despite those intentions, Schweinsteiger’s midfield team-mate Mata has handed him his support, along with the rest of United’s players.
“We all are very happy for him that he is training with us,” Mata said.
“I wish the best for him and so does the rest of the team. He will never lose it.”

The Spaniard has been in fine form himself in the absence of Schweinsteiger this season.
And Mata is set to feature for Manchester United when they travel to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday (6pm).
However, while Schweinsteiger is back in training, a return to matchday action is far away.
The Bayern Munich legend is not even part of Mourinho’s European squad.

Although he was upbeat following yesterday’s comeback and posted on Instagram: “Felt great today! Team is in good shape, results will follow!”
United have struggled of late, showing plenty of cracks in their 0-0 draw with Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday as Mourinho was sent to the stands by Mark Clattenburg after a heated half-time bust-up.
With key games coming up ahead of the international break against Fenerbahce and Swansea, Schweinsteiger’s return could help boost the team’s morale.
