The 23-year-old has been an ever-present fixture in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI this term.
United’s performances have waned in the past few weeks in the Premier League.
But off the pitch, things are looking positive for Lingard.
The Daily Mail claim the midfielder is closing in on signing a new four-year contract with the club.
It is thought the prospective deal will see him double his current £30,000 wages.

He has 18 months left to run on his present deal.
