Liverpool want Aston Villa's Jordan Amavi
Jurgen Klopp is thought to be keen on landing a new left-back before the new season kicks off to add competition for current first-choice Alberto Moreno.
And according to Le Parisien journalist Florian Fieschi, Villa's Amavi is on Klopp's summer shortlist.
French Football claim Klopp is a long-term admirer of the 22-year-old and even wanted him during his time in charge at Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool officials are said to have already met with the defender's representatives in June to discuss a potential switch to Anfield.
The France Under-21 international only joined Villa a year ago but is likely to favour a summer move following Villa's relegation to the Championship.

Amavi, who cost Villa around £9million from Ligue 1 side Nice, was limited to just 10 Premier League outings last season after suffering a lengthy knee injury in November.
Liverpool have also been linked with Leicester's Ben Chilwell, Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs and Leeds' Charlie Taylor in their summer pursuit of a new left-back.
