Leeds manager shock: Boss reveals why he snubbed Massimo Cellino offer
LEEDS target Giuseppe Iachini has snubbed a move to the Championship in favour of Serie A side Udinese.
Giuseppe Iachini was reportedly made an offer by Leeds owner Massimo Cellino
Iachini was reportedly a target for Massimo Cellino, with Steve Evans expected to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the month.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claimed last week the Leeds owner made an offer to his fellow countryman, who had been sacked by Palermo in March.
However, the 52-year-old has since been unveiled as the new Udinese coach and has explained why he opted to join the Serie A side.
“I’m carrying on as people would expect me to because I’ve got a contract.
"I’m in the job and I want to be ready to run with pre-season and everything else if I get the call.”
