Liverpool zone in on midfielder: £12m bid confirmed after sporting director speaks out
LIVERPOOL have made a £12million bid for Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to reports in Italy.

The Reds have been linked to Poland international Zielinski in recent weeks, with a summer move on the cards.
He could play a pivotal role for his country at Euro 2016 this summer and that may see his transfer fee rise.
And Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim Liverpool have moved early in an effort to secure the 21-year-old.

"We have no foreclosure, we’ll have many deals with Napoli in the future as well but for now it’s too soon," Giaretta said.
"We haven’t done anything yet but the eyes of many top clubs are on the player.”
Just days earlier Giaretta had told Italian radio station Radio Punto Zero: "There is interest from Liverpool and it is concrete interest.
“He is doing very well and has the eyes of the Premier League on him.”
