Chelsea are the first side since Man Utd's mid-1950s kids to win three successive FA Youth Cups
Joe Edwards’ side comfortably beat Manchester City 3-1 in front of a 8,530 crowd at Stamford Bridge for a 4-2 aggregate victory over the two legs.
The last side to win three or more consecutive FA Youth Cups were United’s starlets in the Fifties.
Those United teams, which included Sir Bobby Charlton and Duncan Edwards, lifted the first five trophies from 1953- 1957.
Chelsea clinched the win with two pinpoint second-half headers.
After 54 minutes, striker Tammy Abraham scored his seventh goal of this year’s competition, and in the 73rd minute, Fikayo Tomori powered in the third.
City winger Brahim Diaz showed great skill to score a late consolation, but Chelsea duly secured a fifth trophy in the past seven years.
