Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the singing of Ado Den Haag youngster Abdallah Aberkane, who can play in the centre of defence as well as a left-back.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim the Reds are in advanced talks with the 15-year-old after sending scouts to watch him throughout the season.
Meanwhile, Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on a summer move for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez.
Klopp has reportedly been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, who currently plays second fiddle to Gareth Bale, since his impressive loan spell at Espanyol last term.
And finally, Jiangsu Suning manager Dan Petrescu has revealed Alex Teixeira joined the Chinese Super League club for financial reasons after Liverpool failed to sign him in January.
Petrescu said of the Brazilian's £38m move from Shakhtar Donetsk: “Alex was very clear. He said he came here for economic reasons.

“I’m sure every player who has come out here is happy they made the right choice."
