Leighton Baines admits there is no chemistry between the Everton players
Roberto Martinez's side fell to a third straight Premier League defeat on Sunday when they lost 1-0 at Manchester United, and are 12th.
Martinez is facing scrutiny over the fact that squad so packed with talent is performing so poorly.
Baines admits that Everton need a win in their Wembley FA Cup semi-final on April 23, against United or West Ham, to restore pride in a flagging season.
The England left-back said: "I don't think there is anyone expecting to have their name pencilled in for that game.
"But the motivation should be getting your name there.
"I just don't feel as though the chemistry is quite there with the team on the pitch at the moment, and it hasn't been for a while.

"We are maybe leaning too heavily on individuals to come up with something.
"Results have had an impact on that, because chemistry and confidence go hand in hand."
On the semi-final, Baines added: "That's our season in some respects now. It certainly is from the fans' point of view.
"We've let them down a lot. It's our only way of making it up to them."
