Revealed: Where sacked Valencia manager Gary Neville could go next
GARY NEVILLE is favourite to take over from Roy Hodgson as England manager after he was sacked by Valencia.
Neville's stay in Spain did not last long
Neville was given the job at the Mestalla less than four months ago with the Spanish club ninth in the table.
But he won only three games in La Liga during his time there and was finally dismissed after a 2-0 defeat to Celta Vigo at home which leaves them 14th in the table and only six points about the drop zone.
And with the former Manchester United defender now without full-time employment again, there are a number of clubs who could be interested in his services.
But Neville has previously hinted that he does not necessarily see his long-term future in management.
He was popular on Monday Night Football and may rejoin Jamie Carragher as a Sky Sports pundit.
