MANCHESTER UNITED have entered in the race for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Senegal international has been key to guiding Napoli to within three points of Serie A leaders Juventus as they boast the second best defence in the league.
And Football Italia claim both United and Bayern have been impressed with the 24-year-old's form and are lining up a moves for his services this summer.
Premier League champions Chelsea have been linked with Koulibaly over the past two transfer windows, while Newcastle and Everton are also said to be interested.
Koulibaly joined Napoli from Genk in 2014, and Sky Sport Italia claim the defender is in negotiations to extend his current deal which expires in 2019.

His agent Bruno Satin recently said on the contract talks: “There’s no hurry, but Napoli want to keep him for the long-term, and settle things before the massive clubs come in.
“We’ve spoken calmly, but the president [Aurelio De Laurentiis] will decide if he wants to offer a renewal. We have contact with everyone, but he's not for sale.”
