Arsenal star demanding 100% pay rise with Chelsea and Man Utd on alert
ARSENAL midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is seeking a new deal that will double his wages, according to reports.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled for form this season
Website Football Insider claim the midfielder wants to sign a new contract worth more than £100,0000-a-week as he enters the prime years of his career.
The England international still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current £52,000-a-week contract.
But Arsenal are willing to open talks over a new deal this year as they do not want to lose the 22-year-old in the summer, with Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly monitoring his situation.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has endured a difficult season in north London, struggling for form and fitness.
He was criticised by Graeme Souness, who questioned whether the former Southampton man took football seriously enough.
But he bounced back to score his first goal in over 16 months to help the Gunners beat Bournemouth earlier this month.
Arsenal are also working on new deals for Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez.
