Manchester City to battle United for £30m striker as Pep Guardiola looks to hijack deal
SOUTHAMPTON are planning on cashing in on Sadio Mane this summer, according to reports.
Mane could have his choice of clubs when the summer comes
The 23-year-old arrived at Southampton from Red Bull Salzburg in summer 2014 for £11.8million.
And after racking up 10 goals in his first season of Premier League football, the striker was reportedly targeted by Manchester United last summer.
And now the Daily Star is claiming that both United and Manchester City director of football Txiki Begiristain, good friend and former colleague of Pep Guardiola, are interested in a summer move for Mane.
“We play a little bit different at the moment," Koeman said
“We do not play with three in front, we play with two strikers and that is one reason Mane did not start.
“In the last few weeks he has been struggling a little bit with his performances.”
