Francis Coquelin tackles N'Golo Kante

The Frenchman replaced his compatriot Mathieu Flamini in his first league start since November.

Wenger revealed he felt Coquelin would vital to stop Leicester's counter attacks.

And confirmed Gabriel's absence was due to injury.

He said: “Coquelin is back to full fitness and it’s important to stop the counterattacking.

"Gabriel is injured. That was not even a decision."
