Manchester United to spend more than half of £121m reserves on this striker
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to spend their huge cash reserves on players this summer, according to reports.
Manchester United reportedly want to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer
It has emerged United have £121.6million in the kitty.
They refrained from signing any players during the January transfer window.
And the Mail on Sunday claim the reason for that is so they can chase big-name stars in June.
According to the report, United are willing to spend more than half of those reserves on Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The striker, 26, has already scored 27 times for Dortmund this season - rivalling Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski for the golden boot in Germany.
He was linked with a move away from Dortmund last month but the Bundesliga club refused to do business with any interested parties.

Gabon international Aubameyang is reportedly one of a number of players United are inspecting, with Lewandowski, Neymar and Gareth Bale all on executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward's shopping list.
United are also expected to have Jose Mourinho installed as their new manager this summer - with reports in Italy claiming a £35m bid for Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani will be tabled.
