Summer deal for Belgian star expected once Jose Mourinho joins Manchester United
AC MILAN will launch a £12million summer bid for Marouane Fellaini, according to reports.
Marouane Fellaini was linked with a move to AC Milan in January
Fellaini was linked with the Italian side in January, with Milan reportedly keen on a loan deal before making the move permanent.
But United rejected a temporary move, causing Milan to back out of what they called an 'impossible' January deal.
It's claimed they will hand the former Everton star a three-year deal with an additional one year, but could struggle to match his £100,000-a-week wages.
But the Belgium international could be forced out of Old Trafford by incoming boss Jose Mourinho, making a move to the San Siro more likely.
Midfielder Marouane Fellaini's career progression so far
The Daily Mail claim the midfielder is set to be axed along with Juan Mata should Mourinho take over from Louis van Gaal in the summer.
The former Chelsea boss is now 1/6 on to become the new United boss with SkyBet and is understood to be in talks over a £46.5m contract.
