Chelsea set to complete shock striker transfer after £14m bid accepted
CHELSEA have accepted a £14million bid from an unnamed Chinese club for Loic Remy, according to reports.
Loic Remy has scored just once in the Premier League this season
The striker looked set for a move away from Stamford Bridge on transfer deadline day but a switch to Leicester collapsed.
But website Football Insider claim Remy will now be heading to China this month after the Blues accepted a bid.
The China window is open until 26 February, and the newly-rich Chinese clubs are willing to outbid Premier League outfits to land players who are still in the peak of their careers.
Jiangsu Suning have already paid £25m to take Ramires from Stamford Bridge to China, while they have also completed the £38m signing of Liverpool target Alex Teixeira.
Gervinho, Freddy Guarin and Jackson Martinez have also recently completed switches to the Chinese Super League.
