Edinson Cavani could perform a stunning U-turn and stay at Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
The 28-year-old was tracked by the Gunners and Manchester United last month, amid suggestions he had fallen out with his manager Laurent Blanc.
United were even planning a £48million bid for his services.
But according to Goal, Cavani, who has played second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is prepared to fight for his future at the club.
A source told the publication: “Edinson will stay with PSG. The problems he has he knows how to deal with them like any professional.”
Chelsea are keeping an eye on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s situation, according to reports.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been on the fringes of the first team at Arsenal, managing just 15 starts this term.
Though Football Insider claim the 22-year-old is expected to begin talks over a new deal, the Blues and United are ready to make a swoop if a deal can’t be reached.

The Sun claim Oxlade-Chamberlain, who currently earns £52,000-a-week at Arsenal, is unhappy with his lack of playing time.
Wojciech Szczesny has reacted furiously to speculation over his Arsenal future.
The Polish shot-stopper is currently on loan at Roma and has been linked with a permanent move to the Serie A outfit.

But Szczesny issued a strongly-worded statement on Facebook to clarify the reports.
“Gotta love the media, reporting on three completely different stories regarding my future in a space of 24 hours," he wrote.
“Saying there's been a change of heart, U-turn and turnaround - the only U-turn there's ever been is in your rubbish reporting skills.”
