The Egypt international arrived at the Emirates Stadium during the January window from Swiss outfit Basel, costing the Gunners a reported £7.4million.
The 23-year-old has featured only once for Arsene Wenger’s side, playing every minute of the FA Cup win over Burnley at the end of last month.
And the combative midfielder has clearly impressed on the training field, with Gunners youngster Chris Willock already signing his praises.
"I recently trained with our new signing Mohamed Elneny and I was very impressed," the 18-year-old winger told Arsenal's official website.

"From what I saw he is an excellent player who can break down opposition play and solidifies the midfield.
He added: ”I personally want to become more and more involved with the first team for the remainder of the season and look forward to playing for the first team again."
