Club back out of Arsenal agreement
ROMA have reportedly backed out of an agreement to sign Wojciech Szczesny on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Wojciech Szczesny could be heading back to Arsenal this summer
Szczesny, 25, is on loan at the Rome club for the 2015/16 campaign.
Arsenal were reportedly hoping that the Poland international would secure a fixed switch this summer.
But The Daily Mirror claim the Roma are not interested in retaining their first-choice goalkeeper.
According to the Daily Star, Toffees stopper Tim Howard is considering his future, meaning a place in Roberto Martinez's squad may be freed up at the end of the season.
Howard, 36, is understood to have offers from the MLS to see out his career in his home country.
As for Roma, they are reportedly hoping to sign Internacional goalkeeper Alisson Becker in a replacement for Szczesny.
