Man Utd and Tottenham target issues 'come and get me' plea by rejecting big-money deal
MOUSSA DEMBELE has rejected a contract offer from Fulham that would quadruple his salary, according to reports.
Moussa Dembele has reportedly rejected a four-year deal with Fulham
The striker was linked with Manchester United and Tottenham during the January transfer window.
It's understood a move to White Hart Lane collapsed on deadline day for the young Frenchman, despite him completing a medical with the club.
Website Football Insider has revealed the forward has turned down the four-year contract, offering him wages of £20,000 a week.
It's understood he will not sign and will press ahead with plans to find a new club, despite the failed deadline-day switch to Spurs.
Manchester United's Worst Signings
That leaves Fulham in a difficult position as they would receive only a paltry compensation fee if the teenager signs a pre-contract with a foreign club.
Fulham would only recoup the £300,000 fee they paid for Dembele in 2012 if he moved overseas next summer but, if he stays in England, they would be entitled to a far higher fee under Premier League rules.
