Glasgow's Ryan Wilson set for a lengthy ban after being accused for grabbing a rival's testicles
The incident is alleged to have happened during Glasgow’s European Champions Cup defeat to Northampton Saints at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday.
Tournament chiefs confirmed last night that Wilson, above, has been cited for violent conduct by squeezing the genitals of home scrum-half Lee Dickson.
The offence carries a maximum ban of four years.
Wilson will appear at a disciplinary hearing in London tomorrow.
The 26-year-old was banned for several months last year after being convicted of breaking the cheekbone of another player in an attack in a fast-food shop in Glasgow. He was also fined £750.
To add to the woes of the Warriors, substitute Tim Swinson has also been summoned regarding an alleged punch on Saints’ reserve hooker Mike Haywood in the closing minutes.
Swinson was yellow-carded, but the judicial panel may increase it to a red.
