That is according to Spanish publication AS, who report Abramovic is setting aside at least £70million to land the Portugal international.
The Blues owner is hoping to raise around £150m for a spending spree through the sales of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic.
Chelsea will face tough competition for Ronaldo, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United also hoping to sign the three-time Ballon d'Or winner.
But Abramovic is lining up an “irresistible offer” to send to his agent Jorge Mendes to ensure he gets his man.

Ronaldo, 30, recently revealed he would be open to working under Blues boss Jose Mourinho again, meaning he could be tempted to make a Stamford Bridge switch.
He told Marca: "Work with Mourinho again? Why not? I've got two more years on my contract with Real Madrid, but no-one knows what the future holds."
