Wayne Rooney took part in Manchester United's "Dream Days"
As part of the Manchester United Foundation's work, 'Dream Days' are held two or three times a season to allow young fans the opportunity to watch the players train.
After the training session the kids are offered the chance to meet and greet with a host of United's top players before going on a stadium tour of Old Trafford.
Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay and David De Gea were just some of Louis van Gaal's side who paid the youngsters - 'many of whom deal with intense pain and discomfort on a day-to-day basis' - a visit.
The players then took to Twitter to share their special day of meeting United's young supporters.
David De Gea said: "There's nothing better than a child's smile @MU_Foundation #MUdreamday."
Morgan Schneiderlin added: "We've been lucky to spend a special moment with the kids and the @Mu_Foundation today #dreamday @ManUtd."
