Chris Smalling wants to lock down his England place for the Euros
The Manchester United defender has been one of the stand-out performers of the season so far, forming a formidable partnership with Daley Blind at the heart of defence.
However, the centre-back has admitted his focus isn't just on club football, as he looks to cement his place in Roy Hodgson's starting XI for the Euros.
The 25-year-old's place at the back could be under threat from Everton duo Phil Jagielka and John Stones, so he's made it his priority to keep the intensity in his game.
He told the FA's official website: "My aim now is the Euros, to try and stay injury free, get a good run of games at my club, come back here next month and go again.

"I'm taking each game as it comes but hoping to put a good marker down each time."
Smalling helped England keep a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over Switzerland on Tuesday, earning him Man of the Match. The former Fulham defender has 18 caps for England.
