Ramiro Funes Mori in line to make Everton debut against Chelsea
Everton, who sit one point and four places above Chelsea in the standings, will host the Premier League champions after the international break.
And Martinez admits Mori, 24, could make his debut at Goodison Park.
But the Toffees boss is fully aware that the Argentine defender, who cost £9.5million from River Plate, will need time to adjust to English football.
"I feel that after the break he will be ready to join the group," the Spaniard said.
"Clearly, he is going to need a little bit of an adaptation period because the British game is very, very different - especially for a player that is in the last line.
"But, in terms of being available, I expect him to be fully fit and ready for the Chelsea game."
