Jose Mourinho insists the Premier League title race is far from over
City have started with three wins out of three, while Chelsea are languishing behind with four points from a possible nine.
However, Mourinho remains confident of launching a proper defence of their Premier League crown, which they won at a canter in the last campaign.
“Manchester City are a very good team and they started well,” he said.
“Last season Chelsea started the same, or better, because we won seven or eight consecutive matches and we arrived on January 1 with the same points as other teams (City).

“When the start is good, it’s good but it doesn’t mean you’re going all the way.”
Mourinho's men have the chance to get their season back on track when they welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
They will have to do without John Terry who is serving a suspension, while Oscar and Victor Moses are also doubts for the clash with Alan Pardew's side.
