The Reds' 100 percent start to the season ended with a hard-fought goalless draw against top-four rivals Arsenal, who were were indebted to goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The £11million summer signing from Chelsea produced a string of stunning saves to keep an impressive Liverpool at bay during the first-half.
The Czech stopper kept out a close-range Christian Benteke effort before tipping Philippe Coutinho's strike onto the post on what could have been a difficult night with Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny missing.

Brendan Rodgers
"I thought we were outstanding, we showed everything," Rodgers said. "You heard Petr Cech getting a round of applause for the saves he made.
"Overall we kept a good clean sheet but disappointed we didn't win. It is about keeping really well organised.
"Both goalkeepers made good saves. A really good clean sheet against a top team."
