The Chile midfielder, a Champions League finalist with Juventus last season, won the Copa America this summer.
And he has now completed his move to Bayern.
Vidal has signed a four-year deal with the Bundesliga giants.
"I am very happy," he told their official website.
"This is a new step in my career and I hope to do well here.
"I want to help the team and win titles. For me it is a dream come true."

Vidal had been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Arsenal previously but struggled with injuries ahead of last summer's World Cup.
The 28-year-old however proved his fitness this year and helped Juventus to their fourth Serie A title in a row.
But he believed the time was right for a new challenge.

"I'm excited to play in the Bundesliga again and certainly hope to win it."
