Jordon Ibe bagged Liverpool's equaliser in their clash with Malaysia XI
The 19-year-old thundered home a left-footed strike from the edge of the area in Liverpool's 1-1 draw - their last game on their tour of the Far East.
And he was immediately compared on Twitter to former player Raheem Sterling, who quit the club for Manchester City in a £49million transfer this month.
On fan tweeted: "That awkward moment when Ibe's weaker foot has more power than Sterling's stronger foot".
Ibe made 14 appearances for Liverpool last season after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Derby.
Smaintain what I said in the Kop half a dozen times last season... Ibe has easily got more potential than Sterlinghttps://t.co/VSwR2hKamZ
