Sevilla set to sell Liverpool target to fund summer move for Spurs outcast Roberto Soldado
SEVILLA are preparing to sell Kevin Gameiro to fund a move for Tottenham's Roberto Soldado, according to reports.
Roberto Soldado looks set to leave Spurs
Gameiro was part of the attack that helped guide Sevilla to the Europe League and fifth place in La Liga last term.
That saw the French international linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, although that now seems unlikely with Christian Benteke having joined from Aston Villa.
Reports in Spain suggest Villarreal do remain keen on Gameiro, however.
According to Super Deporte, Sevilla are in negotiations over a move as they look to raise funds for Soldado.
Soldado has had an unhappy time at Spurs since joining from Valencia two summers ago.
It is claimed that Tottenham are ready to lower their asking price to allow Soldado to return to Spain this summer and that the 30-year-old is keen that a move is agreed.
