Arsenal knocked back again in pursuit of £30m striker
ARSENAL have failed in their efforts to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a second time in a month, according to reports.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang - Spotlight on
The Gunners are reportedly keen on the Borussia Dortmund ace but have been told to look elsewhere for new recruits.
The Gabon forward bagged 23 goals for Dortmund last season, drawing Arsenal's attention, claim the Mirror.
But sporting director Michael Zorc hit back at any suggesting the club were willing to sell their star.
"I've heard a lot about this (a transfer to Arsenal) but I can say very clearly that it is blocked for him," Zorc said.
"He is simply not for sale."
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly wanted by Arsenal, although Dortmund say they will not sell
Arsenal were linked to Aubameyang, 26, in June. They were reportedly eyeing a £28.7m bid for the striker, only to be turned down.
"Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a player of Borussia Dortmund and we do not have any plan to sell him," Zorc told Kicker at the time. "That's a fact."
