ROMA will reportedly look to hijack Liverpool and Manchester United's interest in Christian Benteke if they can't pull off a deal for Manchester City's Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko is Roma's top target and sporting director Walter Sabatini is said to have flown to England to seal a deal.
But the Bosnian's wage demands could yet scupper a move with City holding out for a £20million fee.
And according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A outfit have a back-up plan in place.
It is claimed that Roma are ready to meet Benteke's £32.5m release clause if the Dzeko deal falls through, with the Belgian's wage demands less of a problem.

Reports this morning suggest United are readying a bid for Benteke, with Liverpool also heavily linked with a move.
Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette are also thought to be under consideration.
