Vidal opens up on Arsenal and Man Utd snub and expects Chelsea target to shine at Barca
ALEIX VIDAL has opened up on his 'dream move' to Barcelona and expects Arda Turan to be a hit at the Nou Camp.
Arda Turan Player Profile
Vidal joined Barca this summer for £16million from Sevilla, rejecting interest from Manchester United and Arsenal in doing so.
The 25-year-old said on the move: “It has always been a dream to reach the elite and if you are at Barca I don’t think you can ask for anything more.”
Vidal also has high hopes for fellow £24m signing Turan, who is believed to have turned down Premier League champions Chelsea to join the Catalan giants.
The pair won't be able to play for their new club until next January due to Barca's transfer ban.
Aleix Vidal admits it's a dream come true to join Barcelona
“He can fit in very nicely at Barca,” Vidal stated on the Turkey international winger.
“He has a lot of skills that, in the style of football Atletico Madrid play, he has maybe not been able to show. He will surprise everyone and I have no doubt about that.”
