The club have moved to take advantage of Wembley's success at hosting 11 American football clashes over the past decade by securing hosting rights with the NFL.
The new stadium will be adjacent to their current White Hart Lane home and boast a capacity of 61,000.
Their hosting rights are not exclusive and therefore will not affect Wembley's hopes of staging more NFL games when their current deal ends in 2016.
