CHELSEA and Manchester United face competition form Inter Milan to sign Atletico Madrid defender Miranda, according to reports.
Inter Milan have reportedly secured a deal to sign Miranda
United and Chelsea were thought to be leading the race for his signature with the Premier League big-guns search for an experienced defender ahead of next season.
Miranda's contract at Atletico expires next summer and it had been reported that the Brazil international's had set his sights on a move to England.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter have agreed terms for the 30-year-old and are just waiting to finalise an agreement with Atletico.
The Italian giants have offered €12million for the centre-back, however, Atletico are pushing for a fee closer to €16m.
