Real Madrid are keeping a close on De Gea and they are weighing up a £50million bid for the Spanish shot-stopper.
The La Liga giants have been looking at De Gea as a long-term successor to Iker Casillas.
But Casillas has thrown a spanner in the works, by re-iterating his desire to stay at the Bernabeu.

"I wish and hope and long to achieve the highest number of titles, I hope to fulfil my contract and a commitment that is signed has to be signed until the end,” Casillas told Spanish paper AS.
“But I have to earn it and train myself for it, I will strive and I will fight for the position.

"Now I have an age and the things are seen in a different way.
"If I am not the starter I will have a commitment with the younger ones. Why am I not going to continue at Madrid if I am not the starting goalkeeper?”
