But the Argentine has instead talked up a move to Juventus instead, telling the Daily Mail: "I love Italy. This is the country that made me famous and I would love to stay in Serie A.
"There are some big teams out there who don't play in Champions League and I can't deny that I'd love to play in Europe's most prestigious competition."

"He would be a great signing for Arsenal if Chelsea will let him go there," Parlour told the Daily Star.
"If he [Arsene Wenger] can add a bit of quality, I think they will have a really good run next year, progress, and maybe get a bit closer to Chelsea, or whoever it is next season, to win the Premier League."
