Candreva was one of the few bright points of Italy's disappointing World Cup campaign and attracted interest from a host of clubs during the transfer window.

Lazio want Antonio Candreva to sign a new deal
Reports in Italy suggest that Claudio Lotito has made Candreva's renewal his number one priority.
Indeed, it is suggested that the player may have already agreed in principle to extend his current deal, which runs until 2018.
It now remains to be seen whether Arsenal and Spurs revive their interest in Candreva in January in any case and whether the new contract contains a release clause that could leave the door open to a move.
