Man Utd and Chelsea miss out as Toni Kross CONFIRMS Real Madrid move
WORLD CUP winner Toni Kroos has confirmed he is joining Real Madrid.
Kroos helped Germany rule the world last night with a 1-0 extra-time victory over Argentina.
And after the match Kroos ended months of speculation over his future by confirming he is off to Madrid.
The 24-year-old had been linked to both Manchester United and Chelsea.
"We've finished the World Cup in the best way possible," Kroos said.
"Now I'm going to Madrid, so that's two dreams achieved."
Reports suggest Kroos will cost £20million and sign a five-year contract worth £160,000-a-week at the Bernabeu.
