Johnny Heitinga is up for the fight! Fulham star warns Spurs over feisty derby
JOHN HEITINGA has warned Spurs to expect a feisty lunchtime London derby tomorrow after Fulham have finally found the fight to go with their quality.
The Cottagers beat Norwich 1-0 in a relegation six-pointer on Saturday after a win at Aston Villa the week before.
And with Spurs still entertaining faint outside hopes of a top-four finish, Heitinga said: "The dressing room feeling is good but last Saturday is just the beginning. Norwich played well but a victory is a victory.
"There is more confidence in the team now. If you win you always have a better feeling. It started two weeks ago with the win against Aston Villa. One win is not enough. You need a second one.
"So hopefully we have got a lot of confidence and hopefully we can beat Spurs.
"There are only four games left and we want to survive. We don't want to go down. For every single player the Premier League is the best league in the world. Everyone realises that.

"The manager works really hard with the team but it is not only us that work together. You have the technical staff and the medical staff who are working at Fulham. Then you have the fans.
In football you have ups and downs. Hopefully we are in the right direction."
Heitinga could have joined West Ham from Everton in January but feels survival and a place in the Holland squad for Brazil would vindicate his choice.
"I am only looking forward. If you see our squad there is quality in there. But sometimes quality is not enough. You need to fight for each other and that's what we've done in the last two games.
"Hopefully it has helped my World Cup chances but the priority is now Fulham. Hopefully things will be good enough for the manager to take me to the World Cup."
