SPOTTED! Joe Cole mocks Arsenal fans with trophy gesture at Emirates
WEST HAM star Joe Cole appeared to mock the Arsenal supporters at the Emirates last night by gesturing a trophy lift as he warmed up.
Cole started on the bench for the Hammers, coming on with 12 minutes to go after Lukas Podolski had already sealed the hosts' 3-1 victory.
But the 32-year-old was not afraid to incur the wrath of the home support prior to kick-off.
Cole - wearing West Ham training kit and a bib - showed his sense of humour by appearing to lift a trophy in the direction of the Gunners' fans.
Arsenal are in their ninth season without silverware although Arsene Wenger's side will hope to end their trophy drought in the FA Cup final next month.
Cole's personal trophy cabinet has seen more use than Arsenal's since their last taste of glory in the FA Cup in 2005.
The former Chelsea and Liverpool midfielder has won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, a League Cup and the Community Shield since the Gunners last celebrated silverware.
But Cole has been reduced to a bit-part player at West Ham this season, scoring three goals in 22 appearances.
