Aston Villa 1 - Fulham 2: Hugo Rodallega nets winner to keep Cottagers' survival bid alive
HUGO RODALLEGA hit a late winner as Fulham kept their survival hopes alive with victory over Aston Villa.
Rodallega popped up five minutes from time to glance home Lewis Holtby's cross to send the travelling supporters into raptures.
The first-half was devoid of any clear-cut chances with Brad Guzan dealing comfortably with Fulham's speculative long-range efforts.
Fulham made a double substitution at half-time and it had the desired effect just after the hour mark as Kieran Richardson smashed home left-footed into the roof of the net from 22 yards out.
Grant Holt levelled proceedings in the 70th minute when he ghosted in at the back post unmarked and sent his downward header into the net.
But Rodallega had the final say and Fulham remain in 18th five points off Norwich who lost at home to West Brom.
