Calls for Terry to be reinstated to the Three Lions set up have grown since his resurgence in form under Jose Mourinho this season.
And after guiding Chelsea to a clean sheet in their 1-0 win at Manchester City last night, Gary Lineker added his name to those pining for the defender's return.
"Must be hugely tempting for Roy Hodgson to pick up the phone to John Terry," Linekar tweeted.

However, Express Sport understands Terry has no plans to make himself available for Roy Hodgson having called time on his international career in September 2012.
Terry walked after accusing the Football Association of making his position within the England camp "untenable" following its pursuit of a racism charge against him.
Terry failed to hold down a regular place in the Chelsea side last year, but he has played a starring role since the return of Mourinho.
It is thought that Terry's stance has not changed since he said "the door is closed" on his international career last month.
