VIDEO: Ravel Morrison the 'best kid' Sir Alex Ferguson has EVER seen
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed that former Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson told him that West Ham star Ravel Morrison was the "best kid he's ever seen".
Morrison is starting to fulfil his undoubted potential this season, having joined the Hammers from United in January 2012.
But Red Devils stalwart Ferdinand has explained how Ferguson once told him that the playmaker was the best talent he had ever seen.
"Ever since the first day I saw him, the old boss (Ferguson) said to me look at this kid, number 7 on the training pitch, come and watch, best kid he’s ever seen," Ferdinand told BT Sport.

"He was about 14 at the time. He was taking the mick out of all the other players on the pitch, he’s that good, he trained with the first team at about 16.
"Darren Fletcher said to me, he runs with the ball, he just runs with it and he’s almost looking at me while he’s running with the ball, and waiting for me to make a move and then reacting. The top players can do that, they react to defenders movements."
Morrison has scored five times in 12 appearances for West Ham this season.
