Manchester City 7 - Norwich 0: Pantilimon keeps clean sheet as Citizens romp home
MANCHESTER CITY make up for their loss against Chelsea, putting seven goals past a travelling Norwich side.
City ripped apart Norwich 7-0 on Saturday with seven different goalscorers to maintain its perfect home record this season, with backup goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon keeping a clean sheet in his Premier League debut.
Underlining their title credentials, Manuel Pellegrini's team cruised from the start as David Silva hit the post after 15 minutes before Bradley Johnson scored an own goal to put City in front.
Silva, Matija Nastasic and Alvaro Negredo then slotted home before the interval and Yaya Toure scored with a curled free kick into the top corner in the 60th minute. Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko completed the rout.
Pantilimon started in place of England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who was dropped following a string of high-profile mistakes for club and country.
