West Brom's James Morrison tries to persuade Romelu Lukaku to stay at Hawthorns
WEST BROM midfielder James Morrison has lauded Romelu Lukaku for his exploits and wants the powerful forward to stay on next season.
Lukaku has been a revelation for Albion this season, and has been terrifying defences across the Premier League with his strength and eye for goal.
Morrison has been hugely impressed with his team-mate, who has been tipped to go back to Chelsea in the close season.
And the midfielder believes the club should do what they can to convince him to stay for another season.
Morrison said: "Romelu's goals are one of the reasons we are where we are. Hopefully the club can get the deal sorted.
"He is a pleasure to have and I think he will be even better next season.
"Will he benefit from another season at West Brom? Definitely. You think how young he is for such a big unit.
"He's got a lot of hard work to go but I'm sure he is going to be a top player."
Lukaku has scored 13 goals so far this campaign.
