Middlesbrough are on the brink of signing Manchester City starlet Sverre Nypan on loan, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It's claimed that the Championship side have almost reached an agreement, with City keen for the teenage midfielder to gain experience in England.

Nypan's arrival would represent a significant coup for Boro as they seek Premier League promotion.

Roma expect to seal Jadon Sancho deal

Roma expect to finalise the signing of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho in the coming hours, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

Reports earlier claimed that Roma had submitted a £20million bid for Sancho, with the two clubs also open to a loan deal plus an obligation to buy.

Pedulla states that a loan deal is impossible, though, due to the 25-year-old's contract expiring next summer.

Man Utd urged to sign Donnarumma

Former Manchester United assistant Rene Meulensteen has urged the club to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma before he joins Manchester City.

"Manchester United should prioritise signing Gianluigi Donnarumma over Manchester City," Meulensteen told CoinPoker.

"He is a top goalkeeper who has won the Champions League and multiple league titles with Paris Saint-Germain, and is also the Italian national team's first-choice keeper.

"While his footwork might not match Andre Onana's, his primary strength lies in shot-stopping and securing clean sheets, which is crucial. Donnarumma's addition would significantly strengthen Manchester United."

Wrexham sign Nathan Broadhead.

Wrexham have confirmed the signing of Nathan Broadhead in a club-record £10m deal from Ipswich Town.

Broadhead, a former Wrexham academy player, is the latest eye-catching arrival as the Welsh club eye Premier League promotion.

"It's been a long time coming, and I'm delighted to join the Club. Belief is going to be the biggest thing for us this season," Broadhead said.

"We want to get everyone from North Wales down to the SToK Cae Ras and to show that belief in us."

Fulham interested in Rasmus Hojlund

Fulham are showing tentative interest in Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to the Daily Mail.

Rodrigo Muniz is nearing a move to Atalanta, leaving Marco Silva on the hunt for a replacement.

And Fulham are among Hojlund's suitors after Ruben Amorim deemed him surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

The report adds that Fulham would have to know that the 22-year-old was open to a move before formalising their interest.

Roma submit Jadon Sancho bid

Roma have submitted a bid worth £20m to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, according to multiple reports.

The Serie A giants are said to have offered a season-long loan with an obligation to buy Sancho worth £20m next summer.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the conditions of that obligation will be easily activated and that Sancho has opened the door to the move.

The 25-year-old is out of contract next summer, but United can trigger a 12-month contract extension to prevent free agency.

Ayden Heaven loan move raised

Former Manchester United and Sunderland defender Wes Brown wants to see Ayden Heaven spend this season on loan at the Stadium of Light.

The 18-year-old made a positive first impression at United last season after joining from Arsenal.

He will be in store for game time this term, but Sunderland could offer regular minutes in the Premier League.

“Well, if he were available, I'd sign Ayden Heaven from United," Brown told Fruity King.

“Amorim put him in some really big games last season, and he was able to handle everything.

“Whether or not he starts for United this season, I'm not sure, but he will play games. He has handled everything that's been thrown at him, and I think he's been excellent.”

Newcastle reach £39m agreement for Villa playmaker

Newcastle have reached an agreement worth £39million, plus a further £5m in add-ons, to sign Aston Villa star Jacob Ramsey, reports The Athletic.

The midfielder is already on his way to the club to complete his medical, with personal terms close to being agreed. All parties are hopeful that they will be finalised ‘in the next 24 hours’.

Newcastle looked to sign Ramsey for £50m in the January transfer window but the 24-year-old opted to stay at Villa Park. Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Bayern Munich have all shown an interest in the playmaker previously.

Yoane Wissa ruled out of this weekend's action

New Brentford boss Keith Andrews has confirmed that Yoane Wissa won’t be available this weekend.

The forward is currently training alone as he seeks a move to Newcastle, though the Bees are reluctant to part ways with the Congolese international.

Brentford will face Nottingham Forest – who are also interested in Wissa – on Saturday, but Andrews has opted against trying to integrate the striker into his squad for the match.

He explained: “I have made a decision that he is not [available]. It has been a very disrupted pre-season and the interest in Yoane is very clear. As head coach, I want Yoane to be in the building and be a part of the first team and the squad. But I am very understanding of his situation.

“I have a very good relationship with him and that will persist. But we have to focus on the players who are ready. I would like Wissa to be part of the first-team squad. Certainly, as a club, we want him to stay.”

Crystal Palace told to facilitate Eze's sale

Ex-Crystal Palace star Nigel Martyn believes that his former side may be forced to part ways with Eberechi Eze this summer if he demands an exit from Selhurst Park in the final few weeks of the transfer window.

Speaking to Parimatch, the official sleeve partner for the Leeds United men's first team, Martyn said: “I understand that the player himself might want to see if he can move to a team that's higher in the Premier League or even abroad. There will be interest from the top sides because he's a really good player, and when he's on it, he's one of the best in the Premier League.”

Eze has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Tottenham in recent weeks, and an exit does appear to beckon. Maryn continued: “With your Crystal Palace hat on, you're desperate to hold on to him and I think it would be important because he is not somebody you can replace that easily. It would leave Palace a little bit vulnerable if he did go.

“But I can fully understand if he thinks he's been around for enough years, he's been brilliant for Palace, but if he wants to move on, then I don't think you can stand in his way."

Confidence growing around Guehi to Liverpool

Liverpool and Crystal Palace are growing in confidence that an agreement can be reached for Marc Guehi.

That is according the Daily Mail, who report that Palace are demanding more than the quoted figure of £35million, despite the defender being in the final 12 months of his deal at Selhurst Park.

Guehi is keen to join Liverpool this summer but there remains a chance that he stays put with the Eagles and departs as a free agent in 12 months’ time.

Gio Reyna tipped for Rangers

Rangers have been tipped to be the ideal landing spot for Borussia Dortmund and United States star Gio Reyna.

The 22-year-old has lost his No. 7 shirt in Germany and may struggle for playing time. Former US international Freddy Adu believes that a team such as Rangers would be perfect for Reyna to showcase his talents in a World Cup year.

Adu told Altenar iGaming: “If he [Reyna] could go to a place like Rangers, I think it'll do wonders for him. Why? Because he will get the playing time he needs, he will be an essential part of the team, and he will essentially grow a lot as a player and just improve a lot.

“You don't get better by sitting on the bench. I mean, you can train all you want, but your game gets to that next level by getting a lot of game time. That just goes for everybody. So if he gets a chance to go to a team like Rangers, I think it'll benefit him tremendously.

“I do think that he's good enough to go to Rangers and become a regular starter on that team, and once he gets a chance to be a regular starter and not always looking over his shoulder if he makes a mistake, if he doesn't do well, he’s gonna be right back on the bench.

“You can’t operate, nobody wants to deal with that. I think that would give him an opportunity to really grow and improve a lot as a player and, in turn, preparing him for the World Cup that's coming up, because this is a really important year.”

Man Utd agree loan deal

Manchester United youngster Toby Collyer is set to join West Brom on loan, reports BBC Sport.

The midfielder was part of the Red Devils’ pre-season tour of the United States earlier this summer but it was ultimately ruled that he may struggle for minutes next season.

As a result, West Brom pounced to strike an agreement with United, fending off the challenge of Sheffield Wednesday to secure his signature. Collyer was also the subject of interest from clubs looking to sign him on a permanent basis.

Wrexham strike record deal

Newly-promoted Championship side Wrexham are set to splash the cash once more.

According to Sky Sports, they have agreed a record £10million deal to sign Ipswich winger Nathan Broadhead.

The Wales international is set to travel to the club later today to undergo his medical and finalise the move.

Broadhead made 21 Premier League appearances last season for Ipswich, scoring twice and registering one assist.

Forest strike £25m deal

Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign Stade Rennais star Arnaud Kalimuendo, reports Sacha Tavolieri.

The winger has been linked with a move to a host of Premier League clubs in recent weeks, including Brentford and Brighton.

But Forest have pounced and agreed a deal worth £25million to sign the versatile forward. Terms are already agreed with Kalimuendo and the move is expected to move swiftly now.

Real Madrid considering late move for Liverpool star

Real Madrid are becoming ‘increasingly likely’ to make a bid for Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate before the summer transfer window closes, reports AS.

The Reds are closing in on deals for defensive duo Giovanni Leoni and Marc Guehi, and Madrid feel that if Arne Slot’s side complete both signings then it could open the door for them to make a last-minute move for Konate.

The Frenchman is in the final year of his contract at Anfield and talks over a new deal have stalled.

Madrid are expected to make a strong push to acquire the services of Konate next summer if he is available as a free agent, but the ongoings on Merseyside has prompted them to consider moving their plans forward.

Bayern eye Chelsea outcast

Chelsea outcast Christopher Nkunku is being eyed by Bayern Munich, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The Frenchman is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer and a host of clubs around Europe are monitoring her situation closely.

Bayern are among those who have asked for more details about signing Nkunku, with his versatility in the final third making him an ‘ideal’ acquisition in the eyes of the Bundesliga outfit.

Tottenham draw up winger shortlist

Tottenham have drawn up a four-man winger shortlist, reports the Daily Mail.

Thomas Frank is keen to add another wide option to his ranks before the summer transfer window closes, with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze among their top targts.

Spurs also remain keen on Manchester City star Savinho, whilst Brighton youngster Facundo Buonanotte has emerged as another option – with West Ham, Leeds and Forest all also keen. Como’s Nico Paz makes up the shortlist.

Carlos Baleba swap deal

Manchester United are considering pursuing a swap deal to sign Carlos Baleba, reports The Independent.

Brighton are demanding around £120million to part ways with the midfielder this summer, prompting the Red Devils to explore alternative options.

One bid being considered is an initial £80m with the rest of the payment package made up with add-ons.

United are also willing to send a player to the Amex Stadium as a makeweight in negotiations, and Jadon Sancho is one option being considered – but Brighton are expect to reject the approach.

Liverpool book medical

Giovanni Leoni will fly to Merseyside today to complete his move to Liverpool, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Reds have reached an agreement with Parma to sign the centre-back and all the relevant documents have been exchanged and approved.

Leoni has now been informed by Liverpool to fly to the club to complete his medical.
