Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou will run the rule over his squad in pre-season before deciding on potential new signings for the 2024-25 Premier League campaign. Spurs have only welcomed one new face so far, but that could soon change as the north London side look to build on a promising start under the former Celtic manager.
Postecoglou's signings last summer flourished in the early part of last season, with James Maddison one of the standout players before picking up an injury and fading in the second half of the campaign.
Their £43million capture of Micky van de Ven looks to be money well spent after his impressive performances earned him plaudits from the fans, with Spurs noticeably getting by after Harry Kane's departure to Bayern Munich.

But Postecoglou is reportedly looking to bolster his squad again this summer to build Tottenham's dream 25-man squad, with 18-year-old starlet Archie Gray their only capture of the summer so far.
He renewed Timo Werner's loan from RB Leipzig for a second season, but the German has featured regularly from the left wing.

He is also said to be a massive admirer of Eberechi Eze's talents, with the Crystal Palace star open to signing for a bigger club this summer. Likewise, Palace inserted a £60million clause into the 26-year-old's contract, which may not be out of reach if chairman Daniel Levy approves the deal.
It is widely accepted that Spurs will look to raise funds before spending any big sums in the transfer market, and the opportunity to retrieve the entire £60million spent on Richarlison would be too lucrative to pass up.
The Brazilian is keen to stay in London but he has bagged just 16 goals in 66 appearances since his high-profile switch from Everton in 2022, and with interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, he could be offloaded to make way for new arrivals.
Joining him in heading for the exit could be Giovani Lo Celso, who has struggled since his £55m switch in 2020 and spent the majority of last season as backup.

The Argentinian is expected to be one of several players to be axed by Postecoglou, including Emerson Royal, Djed Spence and Bryan Gil. Jamie Donley, Ashley Phillips, Dane Scarlett and Alejo Veliz will all head out on loan.
The departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Marseille on a loan with obligation to buy for £16m is likely to move up Spurs' timeline in making moves in the market. Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has been on their shortlist for well over a year now and the 24-year-old's contract has entered its final year, giving Daniel Levy the chance to snag a potential bargain.
Despite their history as London rivals, Chelsea are willing to sell Gallagher to another Premier League team providing their £50m valuation of Gallagher is met.
But Spurs will know the England international could be available as a free agent next summer and, with no new contract on the horizon, Chelsea are running out of time to sell the tireless midfielder.

With their spine of Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Maddison and Son, a few more signings to improve their depth could well take Spurs back into the promised land of Champions League qualification.
